Job Description: We are looking for an experienced Automation Engineer with a solid foundation in technical education and hands-on experience in robotics and automation. The successful candidate will focus on industrializing our force-controlled robotic systems and designing robot cells for customer applications ensuring their optimal performance in industrial settings. This role includes working on-site with clients to commission and troubleshoot the systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the Robotics team to implement and industrialize robotic solutions based on force control.
- Work closely with clients to deploy and commission automation cells and robots equipped with our sensors.
- Provide technical support and training to clients on using and maintaining the robotic systems.
- Develop tailored solutions for specific industrial applications that require detailed force and torque management.
- Give feedback to the engineering and development team as taken directly from the field.
Required Qualifications:
- Technical school degree or higher in Automation, Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in programming, maintaining, and commissioning industrial robotic systems minimum 5 years of experience.
- Hands-on experience with robotic sensors, particularly in force and torque measurement.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in both independent and team settings.
- Excellent communication skills, with proficiency in providing training and support to technical and non-technical users.
